    Experiential workshop - Natural living

Workshop will take place in a traditional village at Exo Mani, a beautiful spot surrounded by the olive trees, 200 m from the sea side just below the foothills of Taygetus mountain. It’s a new built house (stone and brick) with many types of natural plasters that we lately completed: tadelakt in the bathroom, clay plaster in the rooms and externally traditional lime plaster.

The earth was excavated from the field and hand processed to get a clay for the mortar. During the workshop we will lead you through this process and explain the rules for creating own recipes. Your practice – from the base coat to the finishes - will be on the hempcrete boards, with 3 types of clay, natural strength additives and pigments. Along with the practical part we will follow theory of various techniques in natural building such as strawbale, light-clay and hempcrete.

Second part of the event will take you into a practice of healing and cleansing the body.  Introducing the efficient way to increase core strength and to build roots, we will approach the deepest layer of musculature.
We will walk towards the Taygetus Mountains to recognize and collect wild edible plants. Afterwards we will learn how to combine them into nourishing salads, herbal infusions and smoothies.

Join our experiential workshop and enjoy the spring in Greece.

Meals: Healthy vegetarian lunch & dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and herbal teas are included in the ticket fee. Breakfast on your own.

What to bring: light-duty clothes, walking/hiking shoes.

Accommodation:There are rooms and fully equipped apartments available for the rent in the village, average price 50€/day.
There is possibility to set up your camper on the plot or nearby at the sea side.
